In the month of August 2017, I worked in Ladakh for a month and a half. Being a budget traveller, I had to make sure that my trip is as cheap as possible. So when I started my trip, I made sure that I will find the easiest way to reach Ladakh and make a return trip. The idea was to go for an ultimate budget trip to Ladakh.

I have managed camping at Ziro for two years, in 2014 and 2015, when the festival was coming up and growing as a tourist destination. It took me another two years to finally compile the footage I collected and make an aftermovie or sorts.

When you enter Bhagsu, you’ll find a huge pile of garbage lying near the parking. This garbage, collected by the Waste Warriors, is kept waiting for the PWD and municipality to come and take them to the dumping site but they haven’t visited in months.
