AN ENIGMA CALLED ZIRO FESTIVAL OF MUSIC

Ziro Festival of Music is a dream destination for a backpacker who wants to explore less-travelled lands. Tucked in a corner of Arunachal Pradesh, Ziro Valley is filled with natural beauty, lush green rice fields and clouds hovering over on your head. I have managed camping at Ziro for two years, in 2014 and 2015, when the festival was coming up and growing as a tourist destination. It took me another two years to finally compile the footage I collected and make an aftermovie or sorts.

Here is the video from my travels in the unknown lands of North East. If you haven’t visited Ziro then don’t miss the chance as the festival is now getting crowded with rich kids slowly.

  1. I have always wanted to go to a music festival but I am nervous in crowds. I think this is kinda awesome because it is in an area that I haven’t been to before. It looked so beautiful that would be worth it to go just to see the beautiful country.

  2. This looks so much fun. I’ve always wanted to go to a music festival (but reality is I’ve only been to one concert lol). Love the greenery as well!

  3. Festival or not, Ziro Valley seems like a beautiful place to view. It is amazing how many lands are out that that are yet to be discovered by a majority of us.

  4. We had plans of visiting the Ziro Festival this time, but instead we visited Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh, planning to visit next year. Liked your video. Arunachal is really amazing.
