I started exploring India in 2012. In those times, terms like solo travel and backpacking were not thrown around like peanuts. Travelling in India was very different back then. In the last 9 years, the concept of travelling has evolved and a lot of places have become popular. This video is a short glimpse about my travels around India where I explored its many terrains, tasted every type of food, and attended many festivals.

Streets of Bikaner – A Photo Journey
When it comes to tourism in Rajasthan, Bikaner is usually overlooked. Compared to the exotic Udaipur, traditional Jodhpur and royal Jaisalmer, Bikaner is more like the poor cousin of ignored by the rich members of the family. Lucky for me! Close Enounters of the Mouse Kind
I remember Karni Mata Temple from an episode of Maano ya na Maano hosted by Irfan Khan. He talked about this place and the legend associated with it. For those who haven’t heard... Continue Reading →
Amer Fort – A Flight Back to Past
Jaipur was the last stop for my Rajasthan trip. Extremely bored by Jaipur Lit Fest and the superficial crowd present there, I found myself moving far away from the venue that led me towards Amer Fort. Rajasthan turns people into admires of history and antiquity. With every visit to one of these mighty structures... Continue Reading →

Rajasthan is known for its Mehmannavazi or hosting. People here treat their hosts as Royal Guests. While experiencing this sort of hosting in Udaipur where they treated a poor backpacker like me... Continue Reading →
