Everything you Need to Know About Backpacking Between India Myanmar and Thailand by Road

India-Myanmar-Thailand (IMT) Trilateral Highway is now open for tourists. As a backpacker, you can easily take a trip from India to Bangkok by road via Myanmar. Visitors who want to do this ultimate road trip across three countries can do so by their own car, bike or through public transport.

Note: The route is closed due to covid-19. The status will be updated as there is any change.

If you want to visit Myanmar and Thailand from New Delhi, you will need to drive till Guwahati via Varanasi and Siliguri. From here, you can choose the road that goes to Imphal via Dimapur.

One must keep atleast 20 days in hand if they want to travel between India Myanmar and Thailand from Moreh Tamu border.
